One of my favorite parts of this day is all the snacking that happens during the preparations. This vegan Thanksgiving menu takes that into account by offering light finger foods to share with friends and family during the prep time.
You can easily make a charcuterie board ahead of time and set it out as guests arrive, or prep some Avocado Fries to stick in the oven just when you need them. Homemade hummus or this Greek Dip can also be made a day or two in advance.

I have to be honest, I’m not the biggest dessert fan. My kids ask for these vegan chocolate chip cookies every year, and we usually make them sometime in the evening before whipping out the board games.

I’m sure there are some vegans who love getting a vegan Thanksgiving meal that’s close to the “real” thing, complete with vegan Turkey, stuffing, gravy and more. Yet many vegans I know just like incorporating their favorite dishes like roasted Brussels sprouts in coconut oil instead of butter and corn muffins with flax eggs instead of chicken eggs. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and make the meal work for everyone. It might be easier than you think!
Vegans can choose to celebrate Thanksgiving just like any other person with their favorite holiday recipes.
